Well what more can you do? You spend hours and hours trying to help folk out but they still go and vote for their own extinction! Towcester Turkeys?

  2. Statistics says:

Not exact figures but I believe only about 25% of voters eligible to vote did. What mandate does that give the fibdems to be boastful over this result? If I was them I would start to get very concerned about some of the home truths pointed out to the during the course of the campaign!

  3. Hulcote Harrier says:

Glossary of Northamptonshire words and phrases:-

I choose to be an eagle
    And did aviod a puttock

    Revised edition:-

I choose to be a Dodo
    And did avoid an eagle

  4. Roy Davies says:

As it has been said before “people get the government they deserve”.

  5. I think it is important to remember that the old gang parties most effective tactic is to utterly demoralise people into thinking any smaller party can succeed and that to vote for them is a “wasted vote”. Therefore they merely stay away in droves rather than choose change. Our task is to galvanize the massive discontentment currently neutered and inactive into something that can effect change and convince people that voting for the old gang is in reality the “wasted vote” and more importantly one for the country’s continuing demise.

    • Stephen Osborne says:

I commend Ryan Lavette’s actions as reported in the Ukcolumm newspaper. He apparently walked into Paddington Green station with a friend and reported Nick Clegg for High Treason against the United Kingdom our Queen and her subjects.

  6. Gamlegorm says:

I see the extreme left wing blog that goes under the title of ‘british restistance’ has been having a dig at this Towcester result! Simpletons – I have no recollection of Stone Turner coming out to help.

    • I have just read the comment, short sighted claptrap said with the aim of continuing division amongst Nationalsist. I have replied with the following comment, we’ll see if it gets published.

Knocking the BNP for getting 3.1% in Towcester, is not exactly fair comment. Not only had the party not stood in Towcester before, they had never stood a candidate anywhere in South Northamptonshire before outside of the Euro elections. The UKIP candidate had stood in the last general election for South Northamptonshire and they have contested Towcester at least once before. Given the current climate I do not think the local group could have realistically expected much more than 3.1%.

It is short sighted comments like this by Stone Turner that is continuing the division among Nationalists. We should be standing up, helping out and congratulating ANY nationalist that sticks their head abouve the parapet.

  7. Green Scribler says:

Looks like some folk not only cut off their noses to spite their face but their ears and if that is not enough they go on to poke their own eyes out! What a bunch of crude daily stardust attention seeking —– etc. Do they really think that folk are going to move over to support them? Has it become mandatory to continue this frivolous bickering. If so I will go fetch a avizandum to use in the correct context!

  8. Jim Dowson says:

Stephen fought a good campaign, his integrity and effort are not doubted but when will the penny drop for nationalists? There is no future, hope or purpose in fighting elections by thier rules !! Better try to empty the sea with a fork, c’mon folks stop grinding down our best people impossible tasks, thats all i say. But well done to all the team that worked so hard anyway.

    • Stephen Osborne says:

Yes Jim there are many fronts that this not so covert war needs to be fought on. I agree with many things that you say and write. It was Mark that was candidate in Towcester and he is very commited to the cause as well. It is the bickering that I loath. We do not have time for it.
